*Nag and Emerald* HAPPY BIRTHDAY !
*Nag* Wow...so much to talk about this one. I swear, this particular chapter was a doozy on us. We got started sometime in mid-May and got a writer's block.
*Emerald* DAMN WRITER'S BLOCKS!!!
*Nag* After that, we started up again in late June, and got pent up with writer's blocks...again.
*Emerald* I reiterate, DAMN WRITER'S BLOCKS!!!
*Nag* And after a third...
*Emerald* DAMMIT WRITER'S CURSE!!! WHY YOU PLAGUE US SO?!
*Nag* And after a third failed attempt, we just got back on track a week before Tristan's birthday, so we decided to post it on his birthday. Even if it was an hour and 45 minutes late.
*Emerald* Happy belated birthday, we guess?
*Nag* Either way, in this chapter, we see me standing up to my step-dad for what he's pulled. Emerald, disclaimers please.
*Emerald* James Cody "Albro" Vanhorn, or rather Cody, is not like this at all. He is a great step-dad who only yells when absolutely necessary. Yes, he can be a bit oblivious to what he's doing and his alcoholism and addiction to tobacco is quite annoying, he is a great step-dad. However, his obliviousness to the situations he puts us in can be troublesome, and we are dysfunctional as a family, we only wrote him like this to have at least some form of antagonist in the story. Cody, being a construction-worker, alcoholic, and sometimes insensitive person, we had to change a few things in his personality, such as a xenophobic attitude, a much more...well...drunkard-state-of-mind, etc.
*Nag* Either way, we just want to say that we had no intent of insulting him at all and hope that if he reads this, that he can please see past what we wrote and see that we meant none of the parts with him to be so...antagonistic.
*Emerald* So anyways, this is the second to final chapter in Warrior, with Chapter 7 being the conclusion to this story and in this chapter of our lives. So please, RR&C (Read, Review, & Comment) on this and other works that we've done.
